Upper East Side – M Residence, New York

The mixing of French industrial age with American mid-century classics sets the tone for the interiors of this pied-à-terre in Manhattan. The mood created for this cozy interior was intended to be an urban respite for a Chicagoan couple who are frequent weekend visitors to the Big Apple.

A lounge chair with French-linen fabric from Ochre, a sculptural metal drink table from Caste, and a classic mid-century wooden screen formed a playful ensemble and a perfect spot for the couple who love to read. The comfortable yet sophisticated living room was adorned with club chairs from De la Espada, and acrylic drink table from Holly Hunt, and an iconic French-industrial floor lamp by Serge Mouille.
