Long Island City Luxury Condo, New York

The industrial feel and artistic vibrancy of this up-and-coming neighborhood were the contextual inspirations for this 88-unit luxury condo. The neighborhood has been home to many industrial workshops, manufacturing factories, a vibrant film-production industry, and artistic venues such as the MoMA PS1 and Noguchi Museum.

The building façade features corrugated metal panels that fits in the industrial environment while mixing with the vibrant color of the metal window frames to create a strong presence and identity of the complex.

The interior’s materials and fixtures are a palette that marries functionality with sophistication such as porcelain tiled floors and walls for the bathrooms, and caesar stone kitchen counter tops and soft gray enameled-painted cabinets, creating a feeling of warmth and luxury comfort.
