Hell’s Kitchen Luxury Condo, New York

The eclectic grits and edge of this part of Manhattan island were the inspiration for this boutique luxury condo with 7 full-floor units. The Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood is sandwiched between the Broadway theatre district and west side warehouses where many tenament-style residential buildings exist.

The building façade featured two subtly different color of tainted glass panels randomly placed on the façade. To provide more privacy and shades, smoky tinted-glass panels were used mostly on the lower floors while clear glass panels dominated the upper floor of the facade, to maximize the lights and views.  It is our intent also to design the façade as an expression of the neighborhood’s artistic edge and to provide the community a positive transformation of the urban streetscape.

The interior’s materials and fixtures were a palette that married urban sophistication with understated integrity, creating a feeling of warmth and luxury comfort.
