Upper East Side - E81st Residence, New York

The project for a family consisted of a combination of two apartment units, a complete renovation of the kitchen, bathrooms, and refurnishing and decor of the combined 1,500-square feet unit.

The kitchen has new European-manufactured lacquered painted cabinets, upscale appliances, caesar stone counter top, and deco-inspired ceramic tiles. Early in the process, we saw the rather unattractive pantry/storage doors facing the main living room as a design challenge. So an elegant wallpaper was introduced as insetted in the doors to create a beautiful backdrop for the dinning area, punctuated with an eye-popping pendant that was hung over the sculptural and seductive dining table and chairs.

The apartment was modern and elegant, with a color palette that was soft and soothing as a whisper. The subtle textures incorporated in the furnishings and window treatments, the refined materials of marble tiles and beautiful fixtures in the bathrooms, along with a touch of new york art-deco influence, it also evoked a sense of quiet luxury and relaxed comfort, befitting the homeowner’s personality.
